Laura B. Knipp, CPA

Laura B. Knipp, CFA, joined LKCM in 2025 and serves as Head of Tax for LKCM Headwater Investments.  Prior to joining LKCM, Ms. Knipp was a tax partner at Ernst and Young, managing director of tax at Carlson Capital and a tax manager at HBK Capital Management.  Ms. Knipp also served as a senior tax manager at Highland Capital Management, a principal tax accountant at Raytheon Company and an assistant director of accounting and information management programs at the University of Texas at Dallas.  Ms. Knipp graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
