Laura B. Knipp, CPA

Laura B. Knipp, CPA, joined LKCM in 2025 and serves as Head of Tax for LKCM Headwater Investments and LKCM Capital Group, where she is responsible for tax structuring and advisory services to the partnerships and their portfolio companies. Prior to joining LKCM, Ms. Knipp was a tax partner in the Wealth and Asset Management practice at EY, Managing Director of Tax at Carlson Capital, L.P., and a tax manager at HBK and Highland Capital. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with Honors and a Master of Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts from The University of Chicago.
